ARCA-trained for non-licensed asbestos work, £5 million insurance cover and a licensed waste carrier.
If a job needs a licensed contractor, you will be told so up front. No overselling.
02 What We Do
UK law splits asbestos work into three categories. Which one your job falls into depends on the material, its condition and the work involved. Here is where Ford Environmental fits.
Lower-risk materials in suitable condition, such as asbestos cement sheets, garage roofs, textured coatings and floor tiles.
Non-licensed work where the material is more likely to release fibres. It must be notified to the HSE before work begins.
Higher-risk materials such as sprayed coatings, pipe lagging and most asbestos insulation board need an HSE-licensed contractor.
Not sure which category you are in? That is normal. Send a description and a few photos and it will be assessed before anything is quoted.

Work such as removing sprayed coatings, pipe lagging or most asbestos insulation board needs an HSE-licensed contractor. If your job falls into that category, you will be told straight away rather than have it taken on.
Not reliably. Many asbestos materials look identical to asbestos-free ones. The only way to be sure is sampling and laboratory analysis, which Ford Environmental can arrange.
